The Pelikan Hub is a community-organised pen-meetup happening on the same day around the world – hub 2026 is over – thank you to everyone who came along! We had 85 pen enthusiasts come along to the heritage listed Redfern Town Hall (1870), and for at least 5 people it was their first pen-meetup ever ! See you at Pelikan Hub 2027 !
⚠️ Important note – in previous years, registered attendees got a free bottle of ink; that wasn’t the case for 2026, keep posted for 2027 details, date, location etc.

- FPA – Fountain Pens Australia on FB
There will be a pen event around Sep 2027 – but if Pelikan is hosting the Hub again, the registration for that is through the Peli-Website, not through me or the FB group – updates on rego being open will be posted in the FB group, or sign up for email updates directly from Pelikan

Who is Ben-Pushka??
I was at the 2nd ever FPA meetup in 2015, I’ve loved dip-pens/fountain-pens and vintage-type stuff since I was a small child (anyone ever been to old-Sydney-town before it closed and became a film-studio?) in 2014 my sister started using a Lamy Safari for every day writing, and I was inspired to do the same, and love the colours, waterproof inks and smoothness of writing cursive (which I decided to finally actually learn that year)
I’ve been to a lot of pen-events in the past but never organised one before – 2026 had some delays with communication and organisation but it all came together in the end – thank you to the sponsors, attendees who donated funds, joined the raffles and helped set-up and pack-down 💕
